With the kick-off of the New Year, the Harrisburg City Islanders are excited to announce their 2010 schedule.
Looking to build off a 12-9-4 overall record in 2009, the Islanders’ front office has been busy preparing for another action packed season. The United Soccer Leagues Second Division (USL-2) has once again been sanctioned from the United States Soccer Federation, the governing body of soccer in the United States. As a result, the Islanders, and the entire USL-2 will be incorporated into US Soccer’s third division and eligible for the US Open Cup. With the level of professional soccer continuing to grow in the United States, you can expect another exciting season.
